About the cover: West Point is home to the United States Military Academy, which has been graduating cadets since 1802. West Point is 50 miles from New York City located on the scenic Hudson River. The Hudson Highlands boast magnificent physical geography with rugged and hilly terrain. The Plain, which rises approximately 150 feet above the Hudson River, is used for ceremonial parades, known at the academy as reviews. These reviews are part of the West Point tradition and are intended to instill discipline and order within the Corps of Cadets. Photo taken on the West Point Campus by John Pellino, DOIM.
