Be aware acccess to some ArcGIS Online functions depends on your user status within the organization. If you cannot access certain tools, let me know so I can check your status. Also, there is more than one way to achieve the desired results! First, you need to know what the final goal is. I have posted the GIS workflow to Blackboard but you must remember that you need to know where you are going before you can choose the best path. The more practice you get the more efficient you become at achieving the desired results. Making maps and apps typically involves a lot of back and forth, trial and error, etc. which is necessary to create something that you are proud to call your own. I am only one potential source for help. Please, please, please use the ESRI help resources, google searches, stackoverflow, etc. to find answers! You will have a much quicker response time - outside of class time - if you use the vast array of Internet resources to move your projects along. I am a firm believer in the theory that you will retain much more when you try to solve problems on your own. I never give point-and-click type instructions.
